Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 9, 2025
Scope and Applicability
This Privacy Policy applies to the website and services accessible at https://www.portals.chat (the “Site”).
Overview
Calendar Connect respects your privacy. The site does not collect, store, or process personal information unless you choose to connect a calendar integration in the future.
Information We Collect
By default, no personal data is collected. If you choose to connect a calendar in a future release, we will clearly describe what data is requested and why.
Google Account and Calendar Data
If you choose to connect your Google account to enable calendar booking and appointment creation, we may request access to certain Google data via OAuth with your explicit consent. This may include:
- Basic profile information (e.g., name, email address) to identify your account within the app.
- Google Calendar permissions necessary to list calendars, read availability (free/busy), and create or modify events for booking purposes.
How we use this data: to check your availability and create, update, or cancel calendar events you authorize for bookings and appointments. We do not use Google data for advertising or sell your information.
Data retention: we strive to store only what is required to operate the booking features (for example, identifiers needed to place or manage events). Detailed event content remains in your Google Calendar; we do not copy full event bodies unless strictly necessary for the feature you opt into.
Revocation: you can revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. If you revoke access, functionality that relies on your Google data will stop working.
Security: access tokens are handled securely and are used only to perform the actions you authorize. We employ industry-standard security measures to protect data in transit and at rest.
Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell Google user data. We do not share, transfer, or disclose Google user data to third parties except:
- To service providers acting on our behalf (e.g., cloud infrastructure) under contracts that require them to protect the data and use it only for our instructions.
- When required by law, after following applicable legal processes.
Data Storage and Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect data, including HTTPS/TLS in transit and restricted access controls. Access tokens are encrypted at rest and rotated according to best practices. We limit data access to personnel and systems with a need to know to operate the features you enable.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain Google user data only as long as necessary to provide and improve the application's functionality that you opt into. You may request deletion of retained data by contacting us (see Contact below). If you disconnect your Google account or revoke permissions, we will remove related tokens and disable features that rely on them. Certain minimal records (e.g., audit logs) may be retained as required for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use Google data to provide or improve user-facing features of the application, do not transfer the data to others except as necessary to provide or improve the features, do not use the data for serving ads, and do not allow humans to read the data unless we have your consent, it is necessary for security or compliance, or it is required by law.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, when appropriate, provide additional notice (such as a banner or email, if available). Your continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
Cookies
This site does not use cookies at this time.
Third-Party Services
When integrations are enabled, third-party providers will have their own privacy policies that apply to their services.
Your Rights
As no data is collected at this time, there are no data access or deletion requests to process. If that changes, we will update this page accordingly.
